I paid for full insurance on the car yet I was changed a bond of $200 as well, which seems unnecessary. I do wonder why you need to charge for the bond...

My paper work said a $200 deposit would be taken. Thrifty took $400 which has been returned. Maybe there was lack of communication between Thrifty and transfercar?

I think the return instructions could be clearer, with specifics as to parking @ CHC. Also my bond refund plus NZ$50 ferry refund has so far not hit my account, so that would be another point. Everything else went like a dream. John
