Hi Team I sent a full email, this is part of it I booked an Audi A7 Christchurch to Queenstown and you confirmed booking We were then confirmed with Nissan hatchback and the booking stated it was pickup was Queenstown, not Christchurch and when we finally got to the vehicle in the car park it was a Ute We could have booked a Nissan and got a free tank of fuel but decided to upgrade to an Audi and no fuel When AeroDrjve emailed, the confirmation was for a Nissan Hatchback And no free fuel I queried them about the downgrade and they said they can Legally offer a similar class of vehicle In the fine print This Nissan is not a similar class of vehicle and had we elected to book a Nissan car, the rental Car companies were offering a free tank of fuel It getS worse, the final confirmation comes back saying we are picking in Queenstown, not Chrictchurch When we got that sorted, the “similar” class vehicle to the Audi A7 that we were given to drive was actually not a car, but a Ute Absolutely this misleading offer was in fact totally fraudulent Explaining that the Nissan Hatchback included a free tank of fuel, the Manager of AeroDrive offered us a “half a tank of fuel” as a measure of goodwill to compensate For the downgrade After reluctantly accepting this offer, we are given the keys to the “car” and it was in fact a “Ute“ This is the first time I have used your company Clearly you are joined at the hip with the rental car companies and the “fine print” that they all operate under, so I do not expect to hear back from you, but you are guilty of aiding and abetting these misleading and fraudulent transactions to occur Yours faithfully Adrian Chisholm
