a way to send an urgent follow up if the operator hasn't confirmed rather than just waiting days. Also a way to contact the operator to see if there's flexibility in time or date without having to confirm the booking. many times I've found they are flexible with dates and times which could guarantee them a booking and help the renter.

The pick up in Queenstown was not very efficient and they weren't expecting the pick up. Very limited service and information. The drop off in Christchurch was excellent. The mileage allowance of 500 km from Queenstown to Christchurch is a bare minimum.

I am being charged for fuel despite being told I'd be given a free tank. I am not being reimbursed for the fuel even though receipts were presented and I have followed all of the agreed terms?

I have flexibility at the moment to drive, I am available for paid work on an at call or on call basis, also prefer if fuel was included for other relocations as I still need to get back home! All went smoothly but price of fuel is a killer at the moment! Regards Dave

Rental included fuel but agreement stated fuel must be full on return. Picked up car. Given keys told car out front somewhere. Not a friendly guy in Chch.

Wellington Airport PickUp phone no. was never answered, so I had to call Scottie in Auckland to confirm car availability and PickUp location - not at Wgtn Airport as advertised but 8km away in suburban Wgtn...key left in glove box, no contact at all with local Wgtn Scotties agent, car was not clean or well presented, incl. baby capsule lying across back seat. Called Scottie again who assured me all was OK, so drove it to National Park, where NZ Police at Desert Rd closed roadblock informed me the WOF had expired 2 weeks ago. Accepting that I did not know that and as it was rental car then I was not responsible for that road rule breach, I was allowed to drive it on to Auckland Airport DropOff, provided that I delivered it direct to AKL Airport Police Station for DropOff - they would contact Scottie and deal w the legal issues arising from unlawful hire and road use (by me). Took off overseas 2 hrs later by time landed in Sydney, had a very apologetic response from Scotties GM about all these problems and issues...incl. an offer of a very generous favourable rental deal next time I was in NZ. Later that day all monies that I had paid to Scotties were reimbursed direct into my BNZ account...though not the extra (taxi) costs in collecting the car from suburban Wgtn and not Advertised PickUp at Wgtn Airport. Absent that new offer and prompt reimbursement, I would not recommend Scotties, but as it appeared to be a stupid mistake by their even dumber Wgtn agent, I would be prepared to try Scotties one more time on my return to NZ in February 2023. After that next Relocation or Hire, I will update this feedback and make a final Recommendation on using Scotties Rental Cars.

1. Not change your PickUp/DropOff locations without any prior notice to driver; 2. Reimburse driver for extra costs in travelling to changed locations; 3. Reimburse driver for Ferry costs incurred...without needing to ask you to do so after on-time DropOff. I'm Still Waiting for those Reimbursements 2 weeks after on-time 24km different location DropOff!!! I looked after yr luxury vehicle and enjoyed driving it very much, having had to collect it 18km south of Advertised Tech Airport PickUp and then delivered it to a different to Advertised DropOff location, 23km north of Wgtn Airport/CBD - w a full gas tank - then use/pay the public train to get back to my Wgtn accomodation, yet I Still Wait for that Reimbursement from Devine Rentals?!? Where's the fair go there, I did the right thing for you on time at different locations at yr request, Why do you not return the favours done by immediately Reimbursing me my extra costs?? Failing that basic aspect of our two-way deal, I can not recommend Devine Rentals as a reliable trusted business to do a Relocation for, Unless you get them to meet yr costs upfront at PickUp!!

A better understanding of what type of vehicle we are returning. In the description for the camper we just returned, in the description of the camper it listed it was a 4 berth, correct, but it also listed toilet and shower. The camper we returned did not have a toilet or shower. For me, that was important.
