It worked well for me. I would like for there to be a register available so that they can contact me for short-notice round-trip transfers i.e. when there are vehicles to be shifted both ways, with maybe just a night or two in between. I would be happy to do this between Nelson and Chch as it would give me a 'free' night or two with family in Chch. Just a thought! Cheers, Trish

Well the fact that my car got cancelled at 8am when I was supposed to be collecting the vehicle at 11am was a bit ridiculous! I understand the cars are in essence ‘free’ but I had important meetings and an itinerary that I had to stick to and the hire car cancelling the car that morning cost me a lot of expense to get to where I needed to without causing massive problems to my plans! I would have thought that the hire company should have firstly honoured the agreement to move a car and secondly when phoning to ask about the car being cancelled 3 hours before I was supposed to be picking it up, could have said or done more than “sorry there’s nothing we can do, we don’t have any cars” I will be actively telling anyone who asks me to avoid transfer a car as if you cannot even ensure that you will get a car after it has been ‘confirmed’ is ridiculous and as it has for me caused me huge problems and been a huge inconvenience.
