You didn't let us down, why do you assume you did? Today's obsession with perfect scores is ridiculous, A med-range score means you did an average job, which is 100% acceptable. As for the likelihood of recommending to others - I'm not generally in the business of making any kind of recommendations so 5/10 is simply a reflection of that. It was great service and we're happy with the outcome, but probably only have a conversation about rental recommendations a couple of times a year (if that).

Hi, on my recent booking I wasn`t aware that Apex Rentals were going to want a $2,750.00 deposit... when I stated that was impossible and not going to happen... I was given the Option of paying $500 deposit if i took out $60 extra Insurance... since i had cancelled my Virging Flight once i recieved the confirmation from Transfercar.... which i showed to them with the amounts of $0.00 to be paid by me .... they THEY (APEXRENTAL) rudely kept on insinuating that i didn't know what i was talking about.... The car rental company should tell the truth! I used a car at Transfercar for 3 days and paid insurance with the landlord (3 × 30 $) 90 $. In Queenstown I was told that if I returned the car earlier I would get a refund for the time I didn't use. After a day I returned the car in Nelson. So I should get a $ 60 refund. But the landlord didn't pay me anything back ...
