ADvise that my credit card unusable for 28 Days as $3500.00 is on it for Insurance. Any other business would remove this once car delivered. I do not think it is fair and it is not standard practice

Communication with Transfercar was excellent as well as early dealings with Sweet As. However their handover communication was a complete disaster. I spent an hour wandering around Picton waiting for the pick-up ended up abandoning the van in a car park! Never heard back from the pick-up guy or anyone else.

yip, with regards to the insurance. We paid $36.00 per day (2 days) $72.00 for transferring the car at our total expense - it would be good if we got some of that back as goodwill if we returned the vehicle with no damage. This is something worth considering and I think that more people may assist. I do not think that we will use the service again as the cost for us to transport the car was insurance plus petrol a total $190.00. This is more expensive than the Grab a seat flight of $29 $45 or $58.00 from Wgtn to Auck. If we got something back on the insurance like 70% of the cost if no damage was caused then I would re-consider transferring a car again
