I would have liked to have had more information about the car I got. Like that it took 95 instead of 91 octane petrol. Also the insurance was pretty restrictive, it didn't affect me this trip but it could have been a problem if I had had a different itinerary.

Only issue I have had is companies advertising fuel being paid but when the lease agreements are emailed it is then expressly excluded. A no. of colleagues have stopped using Transfercar because of this but I have simply cancelled the reservations and delayed our travel. On the whole I find Transfercar a great service and have encouraged many friends and family to join. Keep up the good service it is much appreciated for those of us who find travel within NZ expensive.

I don’t believe you could receive a higher score. The reason I’d say 8 is just due to the uncertainty of acquiring a car.

More information - Parking fees were not stated by transfercar and the rental. Just more transparency :) Paying $34 at the airport because the car has been left there since the day before.
